Keto Philly Cheesesteak Casserole (with Pepper Jack Cheese)

  • 2 Pounds Ground Beef

  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil

  • 2 Bell Peppers, seeded & sliced

  • 1 Large Onion, chopped or sliced

  • 4oz Cream Cheese

  • 2 Tablespoon Heavy Whipping Cream

  • 2 Eggs

  • 1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder

  • 1/4 Teaspoon Dried Mustard

  • Salt & Pepper, to taste

  • 12 Slices Pepper Jack Cheese


  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Prepare a 9x13 casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray
  • In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium-high heat
  • Drain ground beef and remove from skillet
  • Add olive oil, peppers, and onions to skillet. Stir occasionally until softened and onions are browning
  • To the skillet, add cooked ground beef, cream cheese, garlic powder, dried mustard, salt & pepper
  • Stir to combine ingredients
  • Add combined ingredients to casserole dish
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and heavy whipping cream
  • Pour mixture over the meat mixture. Stir to combine
  • Add pepper jack cheese to top of meat mixture
  • Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbling
